Effective empowerment skills become increasingly important. Equally important is the ability of managers to apply mentoring, coaching, motivating skills based on scenario so that employees and co-workers become more confident in their expanded roles. Coaching is a natural extension of training. It is that part of the learning process where the learner gets observed, receives feedback and gets advice from a coach. On the other hand, mentoring is a type of discussion where a subordinate is assigned new responsibilities and allowed to make more decisions.
An organization that believes in and practices staff empowerment will necessarily see a shift in the role of managers. More authority and decision-making responsibility will be delegated to front line employees.
At the end of the 2-day workshop, the participating managers and team leaders are expected to be able to:

Demonstrate how facilitation skills improve job performance
Mentor and delegate responsibilities to subordinates

Cases for Skill Exercises The background material for the skills exercises will be based on realistic scenarios involving managers and their subordinates. Before the start of the program, our consultant will secure additional background information from your managers to create realistic scenarios to be used for the skill practice exercises.
This course is targeted for staff who are keen on improving productivity and achieving sustained higher results from their superior and teams.
This is a 2-days programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
