We perform process/product measurement in manufacturing process control to provide good quality products to ensure customer satisfaction.
We calibrate our measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and provide accurate data. But how about the competency and consistency of the personnel who perform the measurements, the stability of the measurement equipment during every measurement and part variation?
Measurement System Analysis is a tool to assess the ability and capability of the measurement system to produce quality data by evaluating the gage repeatability and reproducibility.
