Working at height remains one of the biggest causes of fatalities and major injuries. Common cases include falls from ladders or scaffolding, working nearby opening edge and through fragile surfaces. ‘Work at height’ means work in any place where, if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury (for example a fall from roof to ground).
This course is designed for those who are required to carry out operations in an environment that places them in a position from which they could fall and become injured.

A comprehensive course aimed at enabling delegates to recognise the hazards and risks involved in carrying out work at height and also to be able to plan effectively how they will work in order to minimize those risks. The course covers all relevant legal requirements on both employers and employees under the current legislation and also looks at the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment, Ladders and Temporary Working Platform, Scaffolding, etc.

This training is suitable for clients who are required to work at heights, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to work safely and effectively at heights, and basic rescue as required in accordance with legislative requirements.
This is 2-days programme.
This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
