Chemical spills and accidents can happen, on a small or large scale, anywhere that hazardous materials are found - from industrial sites and complexes to military bases, oil rigs, tanker trucks, shipping vessels, air transport hubs, and medical treatment facilities.
The ability to respond effectively to the accidental or deliberate release of any hazardous substance relies on the knowledge and expertise of highly trained HazMat teams. This responsibility can fall to first responders (such as fire fighters, paramedics), law enforcement agencies or military personnel.

After completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Handle chemical spillage emergency more confidently
- Carry out effective preventive measures
- Chemical Hazard Management
- Introduction to Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Hazmat Team Tactics & Techniques
- Role & Function of Response Team
- Practical (Scenario Drill 1): Response to Chemical Spill at Workplace
- Practical (Scenario Drill 2): Mass Casualty Incident
This training is SPECIFICALLY TAILORED to your:
- Work / site environment
- Equipment
- Chemical response procedure.
This is 2-days programme.
This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
