During the establishment of an Environmental Management Systems (EMS) or any environmental program, the organisation needs to determine how its activities and functions may impact on the community and the ecosystem. By identifying and evaluating such harmful and pollutive activities, the organisation is able to develop applicable mitigation measures.
This course outlines the principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment and management of environmental aspects and the significance of these in environmental management systems.

- Develop the Applicable Legal & Other Requirements Register
- Introduction to Malaysian Environmental Law
- Environmental Quality Act 1974

- Managing Compliance with Environmental Law
- Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Managers & Officers
- Management representative for ISO 14001
- HSE Committee & Practitioner
- Auditors, Consultants, Directors, Legal Committee, Engineers and Line Managers
- Anyone who is responsible for the care taking of the Environmental Law for the company.
This is 1-day programme.
This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
