During the establishment of an environmental and safety management system (EHMS) or any environmental program, the organisation needs to determine how its activities and functions may impact on the community and the ecosystem. By identifying and evaluating such harmful and pollutive activities, the organisation is able to develop applicable mitigation measures.
This course outlines the principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment and management of environmental risks and opportunities (as well as environmental aspects), and the significance of these in environmental management system.

- Prepare procedure on environmental & Occupational Safety and Health aspects
- Identify environmental Occupational Safety and Health aspects and impacts
- Evaluate environmental Occupational Safety and Health impacts
- Identify control plan for significant impact based on the hierarchy
- Introduction to Environmental Aspect & Impact and Hazard, Risk Assessment and Control Definition and interpretation of risk, opportunity, aspect, and impact
- Methodology
- Building in Control Measures using Hierarchical System
- Conclusion and Recommendations

This is 2-days programme.
This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
