ISO/IEC17025:2017 requirements is a testing and/or calibration laboratories management system accreditation. Accreditation will be granted by Department of Standard Malaysia (DSM) under ‘Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia’ or SAMM which the testing/calibration performed by the accredited laboratories will be internationally recognized.
The organization certified to ISO/IEC17025:2017 demonstrate their products testing or calibration is conformed to the international recognized standard or method.

- To provide guidance and practical advice on how to establish and structure a practical and effective documented quality management system to meet the requirements of the standard. It provides practical workshop on the review, drafting, writing and format of the laboratory quality manual, procedures and work instructions.
- To advise participants on how to prepare for the development of the system, its implementation and to prepare for third party certification body audit

This course is intended for in-house laboratories and commercial testing and calibration laboratories, which are considering the development and implementation of a formal laboratory management system that meets ISO/IEC 17025 standard. For maximum benefit, participants should have a reasonable understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements prior to attending the course.
This is 2-days programme.
This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
