5S was developed in Japan and was identified as one of the techniques that enabled Just in Time manufacturing

It is the name of a workplace organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke.

5S a method of work organized in 5 stages with the goal of significantly improving the order and cleanliness.

• Learn how 5S can be applied to workplaces to ensure work can be completed more efficiently, effectively, and safely
• To Identify hidden workplace waste that results from uncontrolled processes and reduce it
• To get rid of old habits by learning how to do it

This course is designed for Department Heads, Executives, Supervisors, Line Leader, Technicians, Operators, Clerks etc.

This is a ​1-day programme.

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
