Assertiveness is being able to confidently express your ideas and needs while respecting the rights of others. In this course you will learn strategies to make positive changes to help develop the necessary skills to enable you to react positively with other people.
This stress management workshop will give you the knowledge to recognise the symptoms and sources of stress and it will introduce you to different ways to manage stress which will benefit you, your colleagues and your organisation

Module 2: Thinking strategies
Module 3: Mapping the causes and effects of stress
Module 4: Identifying physical and behavioral symptoms
Module 5: Personal strategies
Module 6: Personal responses
Module 7: Health, relaxation and time out
Anyone interested in stress management skills either for their own benefit or for educational purposes
Anyone wanting to find out more about the signs and symptoms of stress and learn coping strategies
This is a 2-days programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
