Logical thinking skills are vital for today’s information-rich, speed-driven organisations. These skills are necessary for filtering the important from the trivial, distinguishing facts from opinions, discernment of patterns and soundness of reasons, all key components for more informed decision-making and for generation of solutions. On the other hand, interpersonal communication skills allow the workers and team members to establish a common platform for making sound decisions, resolving conflict, and thus minimising damages when a mistake does occur.
The main objectives include to help the learners to develop logical thinking skills. Also, to equip them with interpersonal communication skills so that the work relationship and teamwork among the workers can be enhanced.
At the end of this 2-day workshop, the learners will be able to:
understand the components of logical thinking
apply different thinking tools in given scenarios
evaluate information using logical thinking skills
generate solutions to problems and formulate implementation plans
identify the different communication and decision-making styles
know how to build trust in dealing with others
know how to resolve conflict in the workplace
evaluate their effectiveness in dealing with others
use interpersonal communication skills to improve team outcomes
