Every organization strives to achieve the goals of having highly-skilled and well-motivated people. Of what use are sound strategies when the capacity to execute them is limited? This 2-day workshop is designed to develop the learners’ abilities in managing group and individual performance through establishing meaningful goals and targets, using the balanced scorecard (BSC) framework.
During the workshop, the participating managers will acquire a valuable set of skills and will gain the competence to develop a system of performance excellence. Managers will have a basis for current and future performance improvements with the staff.
By the end of this program, the participants will be able to:
Explain the needs for performance targets in the context of quality management process
Determine the key result areas (KRAs) of their respective organizational work units
Distinguish between targets and performance measures
Describe the different classifications of performance targets
Write the targets for each of their departmental KRAs
Identify the key performance indicators (KPIs) and the metrics that measure them
Improve company performance by measuring what matters and by focusing on the business plans, objectives, and action plans
Cascade down the key performance indicators (KPIs), and prioritize initiatives and budget allocation

This is a 2-days programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
