Electrostatic discharge related failures continue to cost electronics manufacturers many millions of dollars every year. The cost of a damaged wafer, die, component, or assembly might be only a few cents or could reach thousands of dollars. When failure happens in the field, multiply the costs by ten. ESD can impact production yields, product quality, reliability in the field, and customer satisfaction, and all of these affect your profitability.
The training is done with plenty of examples and real case studies to ensure participants fully understand the concept of ESD. The training is also specially tailored for the various industries such as semiconductor, drive, PCB assemblies etc.
At the end of this course, the participants will learn:
ESD Fundamentals
Overview of ESD S20.20 Standard Requirement
Execution of standard test method ESD TR53
Section 1: ESD Fundamentals
Section 2: ESD Occurrence
Section 3: ESD Impact
Section4: ESD Control Coordinator and Program
Section 5: Personal Safety
Section 6: ESD Control Program Administrative Requirement
Section 7 – Audit qualification Plan
Production Supervisor / Technician / Engineer involve in ESD control or maintenance
ESD Committee Members / Internal ESD Auditors
This is a2-days programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
