Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is an approach to delineate all possible failures and their effects on the system. The objective is to classify failures according to their effect. AIAG-VDA FMEA is the latest discipline that utilizes the 7 steps approach that focuses upon design failure mode and effect analysis for automotive products.
This course is designed to expose participants to the background and concept of DFMEA according to AIAG-VDA FMEA manual, as well as to establish FMEA within their companies
At the end of the course, participants will understand and be able to:
Know the background, concept and approach of FMEA according to the latest AIAG-VDA FMEA manual
Apply the concepts and practical approaches to DFMEA & PFMEA development
Managers, Department Heads, Operational personnel and Administrative personnel (APQP Team members) for the company involved in the APQP process.
This is a 2-day programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
