The purpose of a 5S audit is to assess the level of 5S implementation at the workplace. It is customary to conduct a 5S audit following the implementation of 5S.
In order to conduct a 5S audit, a member of your team or an employee of your organization must participate. It is determined by the size of the shop floor how long the audit will last. A 5S audit can also be conducted at a prearranged or unscheduled time.
At the end of this one-day workshop participants will:
Learn how 5S can be applied to workplaces to ensure work can be completed more efficiently, effectively, and safely
To Identify hidden workplace waste that results from uncontrolled processes and reduce it
To understand the approach of productive improvement
To have a proactive approach to identifying problems
To enhance the safety and satisfaction of workers
