The growing expectations from global customers, multinational corporations, and supply chain stakeholders have made Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance an essential requirement for modern organizations. Companies are increasingly expected to demonstrate ethical business practices, responsible labor management, environmental stewardship, and strong governance systems throughout their operations and supply chains.
This 2-day training programme is designed to provide participants with practical awareness and implementation knowledge of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and SMETA requirements. The programme introduces participants to the key pillars of responsible business practices, including labor standards, health & safety, environmental management, business ethics, and management systems.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of customer expectations, common compliance gaps, audit preparation requirements, and practical approaches for implementing responsible business practices within their organizations. The programme emphasizes practical understanding and operational application rather than complex technical interpretation, making it suitable for organizations beginning or strengthening their RBA / SMETA implementation journey.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand the fundamentals and importance of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), SEDEX, and SMETA requirements
Recognize the key requirements under SMETA 2-Pillar and 4-Pillar assessments
Understand basic labor standards, human rights, health & safety, environmental, and business ethics requirements
