SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is one of the most widely used ethical audit formats in the world. It provides a framework for businesses to assess their supply chains and ensure that social and ethical standards are being met. This SMETA Awareness Training is designed to introduce participants to the four key pillars of SMETA and their significance in promoting ethical trade practices. Through this course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the SMETA audit process and its impact on businesses and society as a whole.

The SMETA Awareness Training concludes with a summary of the four pillars of SMETA and the essential role they play in promoting ethical trade practices. Participants will leave the training equipped with knowledge about the SMETA and the tools to implement responsible and sustainable business practices in their respective organizations. By adhering to the principles of SMETA, businesses can positively impact society and contribute to the global effort towards ethical and responsible trade.
