The ISCC EU (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification – EU) is a globally recognized certification system that ensures materials used for biofuels, biomass, and other renewable products meet strict sustainability and traceability requirements under the EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED II). It helps companies demonstrate compliance with European sustainability laws and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction standards.
Through ISCC EU certification, organizations can verify that their raw materials come from sustainable sources and that every stage of the supply chain—from production to storage and delivery—is transparent and accountable. This system promotes environmental protection, social responsibility, and efficient resource management. For businesses involved in storage, logistics, or trade of bio-based and renewable materials, ISCC EU certification provides global credibility and market access. It assures customers and regulators that certified operations are committed to sustainability and carbon footprint reduction while maintaining consistent quality and traceability.
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
Understand how ISCC EU applies to liquid bulk storage and packaging operations.
Recognize each department’s role in maintaining certification integrity.
Be able to identify and document certified material movement accurately.
Gain awareness of sustainability and traceability expectations under EU standards.
Be prepared for compliance audits and customer requirements.
