Defensive driving is as much about what you do and how you drive as it is about what someone else does.
The key is to be a safe driver, to drive a safe vehicle, to have a good understanding of how to drive your vehicle, and to know when you should stop driving in hazardous conditions.
By anticipating situations and making safe, well-informed decisions, defensive driving classes help participants increase their driving skills.
When completing a safe driving maneuver, road and environmental conditions are taken into account.
At the end of the program participants is to prepare commercial vehicle drivers for the challenges they face on the road by providing them with a well-rounded overview of defensive driving concepts.
