Defensive driving is as much about what you do and how you drive as it is about what someone else does.
The key is to be a safe driver, to drive a safe vehicle, to have a good understanding of how to drive your vehicle, and to know when you should stop driving in hazardous conditions.
By anticipating situations and making safe, well-informed decisions, defensive driving classes help participants increase their driving skills.
When completing a safe driving maneuver, road and environmental conditions are taken into account.
