- legal obligations of both pieces of legislation to future developments which could affect conformity or enforce design chain - critically how to take practical and effective steps to comply.
- The most essential requirement for manufacturers and importers of goods is gaining and verifying substance data from the supply chain as well as handling compliance issues with the same substance and managing.
- Understanding of RoHs 3 and additional restricted substances added
- Introduction to RoHS and REACH – the legal obligations and their technical and business implications
- RoHS 3 compliance including use of harmonized standard EN IEC 63000:2018 and conformity assessment
- REACH compliance including substance obsolescence, reporting Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) and authorization
- Upcoming issues - exemptions, newsubstances, changes in scope
This course is designed for those who need to have a working knowledge of RoHS and REACH requirements, knowledge of the ISO 14001 standard is added advantage, such as but not limited to:
- Senior management, manager, QA, Engineering, Purchaser, Supplier Quality Engineer
- Those responsible to ensure RoHS and REACH compliance on meeting the requirements
- ISO 14001 auditors and quality professionals
This is a 7 hours Remote Online Training Programme.
