HHS-128 Refresher on Spill Response and Spill Kit Handling
Spill Kit Refresher Training is designed to reinforce employees’ knowledge and skills in managing workplace spills safely and efficiently. This short, practical session ensures participants remain confident and competent in responding to spills involving oil, chemicals, or other hazardous substances.
Through a combination of brief theory and hands-on practice, participants will review the correct use of spill kits, understand the functions of each component, and apply the proper steps to contain, control, and clean up spills effectively. The training emphasizes the importance of safety, environmental protection, and compliance with workplace regulations.
This refresher programme is ideal for employees who have previously attended spill response training or are responsible for handling, storing, or transporting hazardous materials. By the end of the session, participants will be better prepared to respond promptly and safely to spill incidents, reducing risks to people, property, and the environment.

This programme is designed for:
- Employees handling, storing, or transporting hazardous substances
- Safety committee or emergency response team members
- Supervisors and maintenance staff
This is a 0.5-day programme.
This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
