ISO 37001 Has been Updated - What do you need to know?

The new ISO 37001:2025 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) has been officially published in February 2025, bringing important updates to help organizations strengthen integrity and governance.

What’s new in ISO 37001:2025?

✅ Stronger emphasis on leadership accountability and ethical culture
✅ Clearer roles for the anti-bribery function
✅ Enhanced risk-based approach, including third-party and business process risks
✅ Better alignment with other ISO management systems
       (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 37301)
✅ Improved focus on continual improvement and performance evaluation

📌 Integrity is no longer optional — it’s a leadership responsibility.

What should you do? 

From 31 August 2026 new and renewal certifications should be issued only to ISO 37001:2025.

Organizations certified to ISO 37001:2016 must be migrated to the 2025 version By 28 February 2027
