Lean principles have come a long way over the past 300 years. From Benjamin Franklin’s early ideas, to Henry Ford’s work in the 1920’s and the Toyoda precepts in the 1930’s, to Jeffery Liker’s publication of The Toyota Way in 2004, Lean processes have evolved from a simple concept to a set of widely used best practices. This two-day course will give participants the foundation to begin implementing Lean process improvement tools in their workplace.
 
The fundamental philosophy behind Lean Manufacturing is to provide superior quality products for more Customers at a significantly lower price and to contribute to a more prosperous society. It is important to build a Company production system based on this philosophy.
At the end of the course, you will be able to 
  • Understand the tactical and strategic aspects of Lean 
  • Improve processes for enhanced product quality 
  • Develop the skills to Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control processes 
  • Use a highly effective methodology to improve processes drastically

This is a ​2-days programme.

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
