AS/EN 9100 is the quality systems aerospace model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing. It was developed using the ISO 9001 standard. It builds upon requirements to produce a globally harmonized standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies worldwide. AS/EN 9100 was the first standard available for use across the global aerospace community, adding the requirements necessary to address both civil and military aviation and aerospace needs.   

An attendee who successfully completes the course will be able to:

• Understand the concepts of AS/EN 9100 Rev D and the key changes from AS/EN 9100 Rev C
• Conducting effective Internal Audits against AS 9100 Rev D standard
• Process Approach and Risk Based Thinking concepts
• Understand the Regulatory Body Requirements
• Measurement System Analysis (Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action)
• Case Studies
• Examination at the end of the training program

Day 1

• Module 1: Introduction to AS9100 Rev D
• Module 2: AS9100 Core Tools
• Module 3: AS9100 Standards Clause 4 to 10 
• Module 4: 
  - Non-Conformance handling
  - FMEA and Risk Management

Day 2

• Module 5: Introduction to Audit
• Module 6: Systematic Approach to Conducting Audit
• Module 7: Preparation for an audit
  
• Module 8: Audit Reporting

Day 3

• Module 9: Corrective Action and Follow-Up
• Mock Audit Activity: Hands-on Experience

         • Participants will engage in a simulated internal audit scenario
           - Divide participants into audit teams
           - Assign roles (lead auditor, auditee, observer)
           - Provide documentation for the simulated organization
           - Conduct the mock audit
           - Debrief and discuss findings
             Closing Session: Review and Certification
             Review of key concepts and skills learned

• Module 10: Q&A session

This programme is highly recommended for Quality Managers and designate Internal Auditors of firms Manufacturing/supplying to the aerospace OEMs.

This is a ​3-days programme.

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
