The FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor Training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to conduct effective internal audits based on the latest FSSC 22000 Version 6 requirements. Internal audits are a vital tool to ensure compliance, maintain certification, and drive continual improvement in food safety management systems.

Through this programme, participants will gain a clear understanding of the audit process — from planning and preparation, to conducting audits, reporting findings, and following up on corrective actions. The training emphasizes ISO 19011 auditing principles, professional auditor conduct, and techniques for collecting and verifying evidence.

Interactive case studies and practical workshops are incorporated to simulate real audit situations, enabling participants to build confidence in interviewing, identifying nonconformities, and reporting results effectively. 

Upon completion of this programme, participants are able to:

• Have a clear understanding of internal audit principles, process, and auditor responsibilities in line with ISO 19011:2018.
• Equip with the knowledge to plan, prepare, and conduct internal audits effectively against FSSC 22000 Version 6 requirements.
• Develop skills in audit techniques, including interviewing, sampling, audit trails, and evidence collection.
• Identify, classify, and report nonconformities clearly, and follow up on corrective actions for continual improvement.

This is a ​2-days programme.

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
