This course on Food Safety for Catering – training presents the characteristics and application of Food Safety and Food Hygiene principles, with general requirements for an effective food safety culture in the catering business. It will be helpful for users to gain knowledge and understanding of various food safety hazards, food safety culture, and its implementation, etc. Other than this, it includes personal hygiene practices and training, cleaning and sanitizing practices, and pest control for food catering service providers. 

This food safety for catering training course presents the principles of HACCP - Hazard Analytic Critical Control Points that helpful to learn how to prevent, eliminate, or reduce hazards to levels that protect public health. Finally, this course also describes what is food allergy and food allergens that will help to prevent the health of the customers using their services.

In a short time, this course will satisfy the training needs of individuals seeking basic knowledge with training attendance certification for food safety for catering food sector organizations.​
At the end of this course, participants will be able to understand:
  • Apply effective hygiene and food safety behaviours in catering operations
  • Implement practical food safety controls along catering workflows
  • Manage food allergen risks during preparation and service
  • Support and sustain food safety culture through daily practices
  • Apply effective cleaning, sanitation, and pest prevention controls

  • ​Session 4: Operational Control – Cleaning, Sanitation & Pest Prevention
This course is for all those who need or want to gain knowledge about the personal hygiene practices and food safety concepts for the catering business as well as understand how to develop an effective food safety culture in a food catering establishment.

In particular, this course is useful for:
  • Food Safety Manager / Supervisor / Staff of any food catering business
  • Food safety team members
  • Anyone who wants to know about food safety in a catering establishment
  • Food caterers who want to know how to maintain personal hygiene and cleaning process as well as implement food safety in the work area.
This is a ​1-day programme.

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
