ISO/IEC17025:2017 requirements is a testing and/or calibration laboratories management system accreditation. Accreditation will be granted by Department of Standard Malaysia (DSM) under ‘Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia’ or SAMM which the testing/calibration performed by the accredited laboratories will be internationally recognized.

​The organization certified to ISO/IEC17025:2017 demonstrate their products testing or calibration is conformed to the international recognized standard or method.

• This two-day training program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the requirements outlined in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and the skills needed to document and implement an effective quality management system in testing and calibration laboratories. 
• Participants will gain insights into structuring documents, procedural writing, document control principles, and the implementation process, preparing them for successful ISO/IEC 17025 certification.

Day 1

• Section 1: The need for a documented system
• Section 2: Structuring the laboratory quality manual and procedures
• Section 3: Flowcharting techniques
• Section 4: Procedural Writing and format

Day 2

• Section 5: Principles and Practical guidance on document control
• Section 6: Implementing the quality system

This course is intended for in-house laboratories and commercial testing and calibration laboratories, which are considering the development and implementation of a formal laboratory management system that meets ISO/IEC 17025 standard.  For maximum benefit, participants should have a reasonable understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements prior to attending the course.

This is a 2-days programme.

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
