A new wave of challenges in occupational safety and health has led Malaysia to publish OSHA amendments in 2022.

The Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 20221 was approved by Malaysian parliament on March 16, 2022.
​
As a result, two new parts, 10 new sections, the fourth and fifth schedules have been added, two sections have been removed, four sections have been substituted, and 34 sections have been amended.

OH&S legislation in Malaysia provides the fundamental guidelines on the proper control of occupational hazards and risk; and it has defined the competency needs to ensure safety and health at work. It gives the framework on the establishment and implementation of the proper working environment to prevent injury and ill health.

This training provides:​

• Identify the changes and improvements of OSHA 1994 implicated by OSH (Amendment) Act 2022
