The Understanding, Documenting and Implementing ISO 45001:2018 OH&S Management System programme is designed to provide participants with a clear and practical understanding of the ISO 45001:2018 standard and its requirements. Participants will gain insight into the structure, key clauses, and intent of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&S MS), enabling them to interpret the standard effectively within their organisational context.
This programme also focuses on guiding participants through the fundamentals of documenting and implementing an OH&S Management System. It equips them with the essential knowledge to develop basic documentation, apply risk-based thinking, and align workplace practices with ISO 45001 requirements, serving as a strong foundation prior to attending Internal Auditor training.
Upon completion of this programme, participants will be able to:

Interpret ISO 45001 clauses and relate them to organisational practices
Identify hazards, assess risks, and understand appropriate control measures

This programme is designed for managers, supervisors, safety and health personnel, HR practitioners, and team members who are involved in or responsible for implementing and maintaining an Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&S MS).
It is also suitable for organisations planning to adopt ISO 45001:2018, as well as individuals who require a solid foundation in understanding, documenting, and implementing the standard prior to attending Internal Auditor training.
This is a 2-days programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
