Strategic Approach to Risk-Based Thinking is a forward-looking method that enables organizations to anticipate and manage potential challenges while identifying opportunities for improvement. It goes beyond compliance by embedding risk awareness into strategic planning, operational processes, and decision-making frameworks. This approach ensures that risks are addressed proactively rather than reactively.

Adopting a strategic risk-based mindset aligns with the requirements of ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. It emphasizes understanding the organizational context, evaluating risks and opportunities, and integrating this analysis into quality, environmental, or health and safety management systems. This leads to improved resilience, enhanced customer confidence, and sustained business performance.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
 
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
