Production Planning and Control (PPC) is the heartbeat of any manufacturing operation. It orchestrates the entire supply chain—from sourcing the right materials and deploying the right people, to executing efficient processes and ensuring that products are delivered to customers on time, at the right cost, and with the right quality.
As product variety and complexity increase, so do the challenges in planning and control. Thus, a solid understanding of PPC principles is essential for individuals working in this environment. Mastering PPC allows organizations to better align resources, optimize performance, and ultimately fulfil customer demands with maximum efficiency and minimal cost.
PPC is more than just scheduling work; it's a strategic function that ensures the smooth and synchronized flow of materials, manpower, and machinery across the production line. When executed effectively, it enhances coordination across departments, reduces waste, and boosts customer satisfaction.
Participants will:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and importance of PPC
Learn the step-by-step approach to effective production planning and control
