Front desk personnel and/or receptionist are the first person that a customer encounters upon entry into your organization, so it is essential to present the most positive image possible. Front desk corporate image does dramatically impact a customer’s perception of an organisation’s employees in terms of the skills, etiquette and overall performance.
Front desk professionals are the first point of contact for any organisation and play a critical role in shaping corporate image, customer experience, and communication flow. This 2-day programme is designed to equip participants with essential professional image, communication skills, and modern front desk service competencies including digital etiquette and service handling excellence.
An attendee who successfully completes the course will be able to:
Project a confident and professional front desk image aligned with organisational standards
Demonstrate effective verbal, non-verbal, and digital communication skills
Handle visitors, calls, and enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Manage challenging situations and complaints using service recovery techniques
Apply proper telephone, email, and messaging etiquette in daily operations
Improve multitasking, organisation, and front desk operational efficiency
Uphold confidentiality and data protection awareness (PDPA basics)

All receptionists, front line personnel and relief receptionists who are required to create a more productive front office for their working team, and to manage their guest more efficiently and effectively.
This is a 2-days programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
