Managing records with an effective filing system is essential for ensuring that information is organized, secure, and easily retrievable. A well-structured system reduces time wasted searching for documents, improves accuracy, and supports compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
An effective filing system also enhances productivity by streamlining processes such as document creation, circulation, storage, and disposal. With clear classifications and proper control measures, employees can manage both physical and electronic records efficiently, reducing duplication and preventing loss of critical information.
In today’s digital era, records management goes beyond traditional filing cabinets.
