Stress and burnout are becoming increasingly common in today’s workplace due to high demands, constant pressure, emotional strain, and blurred boundaries between work and personal life. While some stress can improve performance, unmanaged stress over time can lead to burnout, reduced motivation, emotional exhaustion, and declining productivity. This programme helps participants understand stress and burnout from both individual and workplace perspectives.
Participants will learn how to identify warning signs, recognise triggers, regulate emotions and unhelpful thoughts, and apply practical strategies to manage pressure more effectively. The programme also explores how workplace culture, communication, boundaries, and supportive relationships influence stress and burnout. Through practical tools, discussions, activities, and workplace scenarios, participants will develop healthier and more sustainable ways of working.
At the end of the program participant will able to:
Explain the difference between workplace stress and burnout, including their causes and warning signs.
Identify personal, behavioural, emotional, and workplace-related triggers contributing to stress and burnout.
Apply practical techniques to regulate emotions, manage unhelpful thoughts, and respond more effectively under pressure.
Recognise how workplace culture, communication, boundaries, and team behaviour influence stress and burnout.
