SLS-103 The 7 Habits for Effective Supervisory Skills Development
Schedule and Hours
Supervisors are an essential link between management and their subordinates who form the ‘work-force’ of most organizations. They are the buffers between upper management and frontline employees, serving in effect as human barometers for both groups.
Traditionally, supervisors were engaged in hands-on management, constantly monitoring employees to detect performance issues, and immediately applying corrective action whenever needed. When an employee went on a short break from work, it was common for the supervisor to fill in until the employee's return.
To inculcate and practice the habits of highly effective people will not only enhance their personal values; it further improves the capability of the people in deploying and allocating resources.
