BPI-107 Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a method used to monitor, control, and improve processes through statistical techniques. By collecting data from production processes and analyzing it using control charts, SPC helps identify variations that could lead to defects or inefficiencies. It is widely applied in manufacturing and service industries to ensure consistent quality and performance.
The core principle of SPC is distinguishing between common cause variation (inherent to the process) and special cause variation (due to specific, identifiable factors).
