Working at Height refers to any task performed at an elevation where a person could fall and sustain an injury. It encompasses activities conducted on ladders, scaffolds, rooftops, elevated work platforms, or even at ground level near openings or edges. Working at height poses significant risks, including falls, slips, or object-related injuries, making it one of the leading causes of workplace accidents globally. Proper planning, adherence to safety legislation, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are crucial in mitigating these risks. Training and awareness are essential for identifying hazards, implementing effective control measures, and ensuring safe practices to protect workers and maintain a secure working environment.
This 1-day course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills for safely working at height. It covers legislation, hazard identification, hazard control, and practical application of equipment and PPE.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

This training is suitable for clients who are required to work at heights, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to work safely and effectively at heights, and basic rescue as required in accordance with legislative requirements.
This is a 1-day programme. This course runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour for lunch and periodic short breaks.
This is an intensive session designed to include as much discussion as possible. Lunch and breaks provide an opportunity for further questioning and discussion with the instructors.
