Working at Height refers to any task performed at an elevation where a person could fall and sustain an injury. It encompasses activities conducted on ladders, scaffolds, rooftops, elevated work platforms, or even at ground level near openings or edges. Working at height poses significant risks, including falls, slips, or object-related injuries, making it one of the leading causes of workplace accidents globally. Proper planning, adherence to safety legislation, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are crucial in mitigating these risks. Training and awareness are essential for identifying hazards, implementing effective control measures, and ensuring safe practices to protect workers and maintain a secure working environment.
The Level 3 Working at Height Training is an advanced course tailored for individuals responsible for planning and executing rescue operations at height. The program equips participants with knowledge of specialized rescue equipment, PPE, response methodologies, and hands-on practice in rescue scenarios, including self-rescue and team-based rescues.
